Soap Manufacturing Technicians work with each other and the Manufacturing & Quality Engineer to execute all aspects of soft good manufacturing at Leaf Shave.
Are you passionate about the art of soap making? Do you have a knack for crafting unique and high-quality soap products? We are seeking an additional Soap Maker to join our dynamic team and contribute to our growing line of premium shave products.
As a Soap Manufacturing Technician, you will:
- Produce a variety of soap products, including cold process, hot process, and melt-and-pour methods - Produce unique soaps by blending different oils, fragrances, colors, and textures - Ensure consistency and quality in every batch of soap produced.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new ingredients, and techniques to continuously improve our soap offerings - Collaborate with the product development team to brainstorm and execute new soap ideas - Maintain a clean and organized soap-making workspace, following safety and hygiene guidelines - Assist in inventory management and tracking of supplies Requirements:
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, visually appealing soap products.
- Motivated self-starter with a passion to make a significant contribution to a growing company - Understanding of safety and hygiene protocols when working with soap-making ingredients.
- Ability to understand and follow all safety guidelines for working with lye, raw materials, and equipment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing product demands and an eagerness to learn new techniques.
- Physical stamina and dexterity for the hands-on aspects of soap making (must be able to move and lift 30-50lb) - Experience in soap making (or similar) is encouraged but not required - An entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for contributing to the growth of a small business.
